Here is a little bit about me:
I am a Metaller, Modeller, Painter, Gamer, Green Lantern Fan & Wrestling Fanatic!!
I have been collecting and painting toy soldiers since 1989, for the most part my collection was made up of Games Workshop models as for the best part of 20 years they were the only games I played. I later worked for Games Workshop as a Key Timer and worked my way up to manager but left the company after 5 years a little disillusioned! After a year of trying to be a regular Games Workshop hobbyist at my local store I realised that the store club wasn’t all it could be and so set up Portal Wargaming with my brother and a few long time friends. Portal Wargaming had been a painting service until this point and then we turned it into a business and began a club. This Club now runs 2 nights and 1 day per week in the Brewing Town of Burton on Trent!! We are blessed to have 120 members and an average turnout of nearly 100 per week!!! This has become more than just a Games Workshop Club and over the past 2 years I have actually played everything else but Games Workshop Games!!! And so that brings me to my Blog….. Scorpius GLC’s World of Wargaming!!
